For more than a decade, from 1956 through 1966, Watson Roadsters raced at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Watson Roadsters won the Indianapolis 500 in 1956, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1963, and 1964, and a Watson Copy built
by Floyd Trevis won in 1961. Watson Roadsters also won the 1958 “Race of Two Worlds” at Monza, Italy and the
only USAC race ever held at Daytona in 1959, plus victories at every paved track on the USAC circuit. Watson
Roadsters are beyond comparison the greatest cars of the roadster era, and for many they are among the most
beautiful racing cars ever.
